Description
EziLab offers the Infrared Thermometer EZL-IT118, a high temp IR thermometer that reads from -50 to 750°C (-58 to 1382°F), filling the gap between 650°C facility models and 950°C heavy-industrial units. Choose it when surfaces regularly pass 650°C, such as furnace walls, kiln shells, and smelting equipment, without needing foundry range. Four measuring modes report maximum, minimum, average, and differential values, so one sweep reveals the hottest point and the temperature spread. An adjustable threshold alarm sounds and flashes when a reading crosses the set limit, and an overheat warning flags unsafe surfaces. A built-in laser pointer aims the 12:1 distance-to-spot measurement, with ±1.5°C accuracy above 0°C, 0.1°C resolution, a 0.5 second response, and a 5 to 14 μm band. Variable emissivity from 0.1 to 1.0 corrects for oxidized metal and refractory surfaces, while data hold, broad storage capacity, and °C/°F selection simplify recording on a backlit LCD with an ergonomic handle. Smelting and process plants monitor high-heat equipment, maintenance and HVAC teams inspect systems, fire safety assessors check hot spots, electronics and pharmaceutical labs verify test temperatures, and cold storage, warehouses, and commercial kitchens confirm storage conditions.
