Description
EziLab offers the Electrophoresis Power Supply EZL-EPS102, a gel power supply that delivers up to 600 V, 1200 mA, and 500 W. It has a sensitive limit of 1 V, 1 mA, 1 W, and 1 minute, and run times from 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes appear on a 192 × 64 LCD. Four output groups connect in parallel, so up to four tanks run from one unit. Micro-current mode, short circuit protection, and leakage protection fit a 2.5 kg, 300 × 240 × 100 mm body. The timer ends each run automatically, so gels do not overrun while staff work elsewhere. With 500 W and 1200 mA available, the unit handles gel runs and transfer steps for Western blotting. Micro-current mode supports slow, low-power runs such as overnight transfers. Molecular biology labs separate DNA and RNA fragments for cloning, PCR checks, and sequencing prep, while protein labs run SDS-PAGE gels and Western blots. Clinical and diagnostic labs analyze serum proteins, and forensic labs profile DNA from casework samples. University core facilities and biotech companies often share this electrophoresis power supply across several research groups. See the Electrophoresis Power Supplies and Electrophoresis Power Supply pages for full specifications.
