Description
EziLab offers the Medical Thermometer EZL-MT100, an infrared forehead thermometer purpose-built for patient temperature screening rather than adapted from an industrial surface gun. Body mode reads 32 to 43°C (89.6 to 109.4°F) from 1 to 3 cm away, so staff take readings without touching the patient or using probe covers. Accuracy reaches ±0.2 to ±0.3°C in body mode with 0.1°C resolution, while a separate surface mode measures 0 to 100°C at ±2°C for checking bottles, bath water, or room objects. A color-coded backlight shows green up to 37.3°C, orange from 37.4 to 37.9°C, and red at 38°C and above, letting caregivers spot a fever at a glance, and a custom fever alert sets the warning point to local protocol. Memory storage recalls previous readings, temperature correction aligns results with reference devices, and silent mode allows checks on sleeping patients. Two AAA batteries power the 0.131 kg body, which switches off automatically after about 20 seconds. Hospitals and clinics use it for triage and ward rounds, infection control teams screen staff and visitors at entry points, laboratories monitor staff temperatures, and families track fever at home with °C/°F conversion.
