Description
EziLab offers the Manual Microtome EZL-MM101, a histology microtome that cuts sections as thin as 0.5 µm and trims from 0 to 60 µm. It holds specimens up to 50 × 70 mm, with a 28 mm horizontal stroke, a 52 mm vertical stroke, and 8° XY orientation for aligning the block face. A micro-drive feed system advances the specimen within ±5%, while imported cross-roller guide rails keep the stroke smooth. Controls sit in a comfortable position to reduce arm fatigue, and a heavy power base limits vibration during cutting. Users switch quickly between a paraffin block clamp and a cassette clamp, and a red blade holder bar and large removable waste tray keep the work area safe and clean. This paraffin microtome turns embedded tissue into thin ribbons for slides, so technicians can trim blocks, cut serial sections, and prepare samples for H&E staining and microscopy. Hospital pathology and clinical labs section biopsies and surgical specimens for diagnosis. Histology and biology labs prepare plant and animal tissue, research labs study cell and tissue structure, industrial labs section polymers and materials, and medical schools train students in tissue preparation. See the Manual Microtomes and Manual Microtome pages for full specifications.
