Description
EziLab offers the Single Beam UV-Vis Spectrophotometer EZL-SBS105, a UV spectrophotometer covering 190 to 1100 nm with selectable 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 nm spectral bandwidths. Wavelength accuracy reaches 0.1 nm with 0.1 nm repeatability, photometric accuracy stays within 0.3% T, and stray light falls to 0.05% T at 220 and 360 nm. Tungsten and deuterium lamps feed a silicon photodiode, while drift holds at 0.001 A per 30 minutes at 500 nm. Narrow 0.5 nm slits resolve closely spaced peaks, while 4 nm slits boost light throughput for fast routine reads. Photometric modes cover absorbance from -0.3 to 3 A, transmittance to 200%, and direct concentration readout, with rapid standard curve setup and automatic calibration. USB and parallel outputs send data to the bundled PC software for kinetics and multi-wavelength work. Pharmaceutical QC labs run raw material and batch-release checks on this single beam spectrophotometer, while chemical plants verify concentrations and purity. Environmental labs measure water contaminants, and life science groups quantify proteins, nucleic acids, and dyes. Teaching labs value it as a UV vis spectrophotometer whose six quartz and glass cuvettes ship included. See the Single Beam UV-Visible Spectrophotometers and Single Beam UV-Vis Spectrophotometer pages for full specifications.
