EziLab offers the Soil Moisture Meter EZL-SM100, a digital soil moisture tester that reads moisture from 0 to 50% at 0.1 resolution, holding within 2% in non-saturated soil. A 280 mm needle reaches the root zone, and a 4-digit LCD shows each reading within seconds. The 210 g body measures 140 by 60 by 22 mm, works from 0°C to 60°C and 5% to 90% RH, and switches off automatically. RS232, RS485, or Bluetooth output can be added for remote data logging. Users push the probe into the ground, read moisture at depth, and move to the next spot, so mapping a field or greenhouse bench takes minutes instead of oven-drying samples for a day. The same probe checks cement, sand, and powders before mixing or packing. Site readings show where irrigation runs short or heavy. Farmers and agronomists schedule irrigation and check drainage, while horticulture and nursery growers monitor potting media and turf. Construction crews test sand and fill before compaction or concrete work, and research groups track soil water in field trials. Landscapers and golf course managers use this soil moisture meter on site checks. See the Soil Testing Instruments and Soil Moisture Meter pages for full specifications.
