Description
EziLab offers the Dry Bath Incubator EZL-DBI110, a dry block heater that controls temperature from room temperature +5°C to 100°C with ≤±0.3°C uniformity at 37°C and 0.1°C display resolution. A heated lid set up to +10°C above the block stops condensation from forming on tube caps. The block heats from 25°C to 100°C in 12 minutes or less, and the timer runs from 1 second to 99 minutes 59 seconds. Multi-point programs hold up to 5 temperature steps and repeat up to 99 cycles. Five blocks come standard, covering 2.0 ml × 35, 1.5 ml × 35, 0.5 ml × 54, 0.2 ml × 96 PCR tubes, and 96-well ELISA plates, and the unit recognizes each block automatically. The 4 kg, 300 × 200 × 210 mm body draws 150 W. As a heating block, it replaces water baths for incubation, DNA denaturation, enzyme digestion, and sample preheating without contamination from water. Microbiology labs incubate cultures and run enzyme reactions, while molecular biology labs denature DNA, inactivate enzymes, and prepare PCR samples.
