Description

EziLab offers the Infrared Thermometer EZL-IT101, an industrial laser thermometer that reads from -50°C to 850°C (-58°F to 1562°F) with a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio and 0.5 second response. Readings stay within 2% above 100°C and within 2°C below it, with 1% repeatability and 0.1° resolution across a 5 to 14 µm band. Adjustable emissivity from 0.1 to 1.0, a color LCD, smart temperature alerts, and a 202 g body keep it practical. A K-type thermocouple socket adds contact measurement, so one IR thermometer checks both surface and internal temperatures, and adaptive mode switching moves between the two. Staff aim at kiln walls, furnace surfaces, motors, and electrical panels from a safe distance, then adjust emissivity for metal, glass, or painted finishes. As a non contact thermometer, it also verifies pharmaceutical storage and cold chain conditions without opening packages. Ceramic and glass plants monitor kiln and furnace temperatures, metalworking shops check heat treatment, and maintenance crews run this temperature gun on electrical inspections to spot overheating connections.
