Description
EziLab offers the Infrared Thermometer EZL-IT115, a handheld temperature gun that reads surface temperature from -50 to 380°C (-58 to 716°F) without contact. Readings fall within ±1.5°C above 0°C and ±3°C below 0°C, with 0.1°C resolution and repeatability of 1% or 1°C. A 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio lets users measure a 1-inch spot from 12 inches away, and the 5–14 μm sensor responds in 0.5 seconds. Preset 0.95 emissivity suits plastics, wood, painted metal, and food, while shiny metals may read low. The backlit color LCD switches between °C and °F, and continuous scanning tracks changing temperatures. Two AAA batteries power the 160 g unit for many weeks, with auto power-off and a low battery warning below 2.4 V. As an IR thermometer, it checks hot, cold, or hard-to-reach surfaces in seconds with no risk of cross contamination. Facility and maintenance teams monitor heating systems, electrical switchgear, and engine components during safety inspections, while glass manufacturing plants check furnace, mold, and process temperatures.
