Description
EziLab offers the Visible Spectrophotometer EZL-VS101, a single beam spectrophotometer that covers 325 to 1000 nm with a 2 nm spectral bandwidth and 0.1 nm wavelength resolution. Wavelength error stays within ±2 nm with ≤0.5 nm repeatability, and photometric error stays within ±0.5 %T. A tungsten lamp, 1200 lines/mm grating, and silicon photodiode detector give stability of ≤0.002 A per 30 minutes at 500 nm and stray light of ≤0.1 %T at 360 nm. Users read results in transmittance, absorbance, concentration, or factor mode on a 128 × 64 dot LCD, and wavelength sets automatically. Standard curves build quickly, and USB and parallel ports send data to a PC or printer. Four 1 cm glass cuvettes, a black block, and a dust cover come standard. As a benchtop spectrophotometer, it measures color, dye concentration, and colorimetric assay results without paying for unneeded UV range. Clinical diagnostics and medical laboratories run blood chemistry and enzyme assays, while environmental testing labs check water for nitrate, phosphate, and other analytes. Pharmaceutical labs perform content and dissolution checks, and food and beverage QC teams measure color, clarity, and additive levels in finished products.
