Description
EziLab offers the Mini Dry Bath Incubator EZL-MI101, a heating block that controls temperature from 5°C above room temperature up to 100°C, holding setpoint and uniformity within 0.5°C at 37°C with a 0.1°C display. It climbs from 37°C to 100°C within 15 minutes, and the timer runs from 1 to 999 hours, minutes, or seconds. Microprocessor control, auto-run, auto-resume after power loss, and built-in safety software fit a 135 by 100 by 75 mm body weighing 0.4 kg and drawing 24 W. Six interchangeable blocks accept 16 PCR tubes of 0.2 ml, 6 tubes of 0.5 ml, 5 tubes of 1.5 or 2.0 ml, 9.3 mm tubes, and 0.2 ml enzyme strips. Without water, this dry block heater avoids contamination, evaporation, and algae, so tubes stay clean through incubation and denaturation. Users heat DNA for denaturation, run enzyme digestions and ligations, and hold samples for reactions or short-term preservation.
