Description
EziLab offers the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Copper Corrosion Tester EZL-RCT61, an LPG copper strip corrosion tester that immerses polished copper strips in sample and grades the resulting tarnish against a color board. A Pt100 RTD holds the bath anywhere from ambient to 100 °C within ±1 °C, uniform circulation keeps each position at the same temperature, and a timer from 1 minute to 24 hours ends the soak with an audible completion alarm. Between four and twelve test pieces run in one batch, the US-sourced color board matches the standard rating scale, and the 16 kg cabinet draws no more than 1800 W. Refineries, LPG bottling plants, fuel terminals, lubricant blenders, aviation fuel suppliers and petroleum inspection laboratories use this copper corrosion tester to confirm products will not attack copper fittings. Typical samples include liquefied petroleum gas, aviation gasoline and jet fuel, automotive gasoline, diesel and tractor fuels, kerosene distillates, washing solvents and lubricating oils. Choose it over a general water bath when strip holders, timing and the rating board must meet the test method. Related apparatus is grouped under Rust And Corrosion Tester, while the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Copper Corrosion Tester page gives the sample capacity and environment limits.
