Two single-opening pressure bombs run side by side, each read on a 0 to 0.1 MPa gauge within 0.4%, so paired samples finish together. A temperature controller and simple interface sit in a 350 by 340 by 750 mm frame weighing 49 kg. Standard kit includes both bombs and gauges, a 0 to 50°C thermometer with 0.1°C divisions, valves, caps, gaskets, sealing rings, and a rubber stopper. Analysts chill and seal a sample in the bomb, immerse it in the bath, and shake it until gauge pressure settles, then record it.
